A new member here, and also new to the Portland area, tagging along my one hive. Who's available locally to help me extract? The folks at Ruhl Bee said they knew of one beekeeper who used to do custom extraction, but stopped last year. I'm willing to drop off my two-three westerns, or do the whole thing with your equipment. Thanks.

I'm not sure which members of our message board write in from Portland, but you may want to attend a Portland Beekeepers Assn meeting or the TV Branch meeting in Beaverton. Times, dates and contact info is posted below. There you should find an extractor to use or someone who will extract for you.
