One of our hive swarmed in June. 6 weeks later no new queen. I bought a new marked queen and placed it in the hive. Today (about 4 weeks later) I couldn't fine the queen. The only brood I saw look like drones. So my question is, is too late to introduce another new queen, if I can fine one?

My call is, yes to late. IF IF IF the hive had "correct" open brood, young bees etc. It would still be HIGH risk to introduce a queen this time of year. That is if you can even get a queen. Being this hive is not correct i don't think there is much chance of it taking. On top of 21 days till 1st round of bees hatch. That is to late in the year to build up for winter.
