my bees are filling one frame with honey and all the rest with brood! my other hive is doing fine. no clue what is going on. is this normal for carniolans. oh by the way my other hive is italian.

Mag, how many frames do you have in the hive, and how many boxes (deeps and westerns)? It sounds like you have a very productive queen and not enough space for them to store honey.

there in two deeps and i have an overactive queen but they have only filled out the top im feeding so i hope thay will push the queen down

I would say this is good you want alot of bees to go into winter with. TEXT need to make sure they have enough food also. Sooo if they are ok on food right now I suggest feed them up the end of Aug.. first part of Sept. to make sure they have enough for there winter sleep,
