Try Ruhl Bee Supply for equipment. They Advertise and have a store on the Web and also a store in Gladstone, OR.
Ask any question you like or can dream up here. About bees is best.
You will get many answers.
Some may be correct.
Pick the ones you like best.

We were where you are, last year. Started out by attending the monthly meeting of the Central Oregon Beekeepers Assn. Lots of info there, and mentoring available. A bee school will take place the first weekend in May, greatly helpful. The monthly meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday at 6:30 in Bend. The address is on this site, and a contact # for directions. Additionally, the Central Oregon Beekeeper's Assn. will be having a bee school in Bend on May 1, 2010.
