We will have our monthly meeting this Friday, September 25th at 7:30 PM in our regular meeting place, the Capital Center on the SW corner of NW 185th and NW Walker on the border between Beaverton and Hillsboro. Come at 7PM for socializing before the meeting starts.
Bring a bit of your honey as this month we will have honey tasting and trade stories of honey removal and extraction. We will have biscuits and crackers to make the tasting easier and lead to a very sweet evening.
We will have a raffle for a Northwest Corner Beekeepers Conference registration which is worth over $100.
As always, we will also have our regular discussions of your beekeeping activities and beekeeping tips for October.
See you then!

I dont' know what it is, but every meeting time in the last 4 or so months has been a conflict. Friday evening I am going to a birthday party... so again I will not be there. I guess after doing 7 straight years of having a meeting every month, I can take a half year off. I'll be back, just untimely conflicts each time.
Hope you people have a good discussion. I am curious how everyone's hives are doing -- especially weight, and maybe weather they treated for varroa and foulbroods. I have not looked at my hives in a long time, just the one at the house. I put my meds in late, early September rather than early August. Soon I will be visiting (feeding maybe) and moving hives to winter yards. I have seen some robbing behavour -- when I did the meds last -- and just ignored it. I figure the strong will get stronger, the weak robbed out and cleaned out. I am okay with that.
I see that Jerry Schwanke had jugs on this week, just took them off.
