We will have our regular monthly meeting this Friday, May 29th at 7:30 PM in our regular meeting place, the Capital Center on the SW corner of NW 185th and NW Walker on the border between Beaverton and Hillsboro. Come at 7PM for socializing before the meeting starts.
Our own blue ribbon honey awards winner Paul Andersen will talk about why your honey is better and worth more.
We will also discuss the swarm collection efforts of many of our members, the possible need to extract early this year due to the early nectar flow, and beekeeping tips for June.
See you then!

Sorry I didn't' make it to the meeting Herb and others. My only input would have been "phenomenal spring unlike any I have experienced..."

Driving with my girlfriend I told her I would hear that today Todd. This is my 3rd year and I guess I better enjoy it. Saw quite a few Black Berry blooms today. My hives are well primed now.

I have never seen bearding on the front of hives in the month of MAY before until this year of course. Hope all your extractors bearing are in good working order this year. Appears that they are going to get a work out.
