How about if we start posting here when we are getting ready to go to Ruhl or to Eugene or George's etc. That would save a lot of wasted trips. What do you think?

I think it's a good idea, but your not in our club -- you used to be though... The trip I don't like to make is to Snow Peak Apiaries. I have had Franz bring boxes to the state meeting before in Hood River...

My package came early so I had to pick it up. Sorry I couldn't give you a heads up sooner. I'll post the next time I am going.

I'm working there now, so be sure to say hi!
We've been absolutely slammed with new beekeepers gearing up for their first season. Just want to let you guys know that we're really trying hard to get through the countless voicemails and e-mails we receive when we just can't get to the phone due to multiple customers asking tons of questions about woodenware, CCD, etc---but hey, questions are good!
I'll be checking in here on the forum more frequently now that I'm on the mend (have been out of commission for a while) and I know that John and Shanon, the new owners of Ruhl's, are eager to keep everyone happy---IM me if you have any suggestions for products you'd like to see them stock. New stuff we're trying out include a limited number of Nicot graftless systems, the new MegaBee patties, Honey B Healthy, a few new options for bee jackets, etcetera.
We're also still getting queens in on Tuesdays, and we have space on our last package order (Est. delivery May 5).
As for Franz, he's been a busy guy--I ran down there last week to pick up an order he put together for Ruhl. Always love that drive (though my beater '78 Dodge 440 doesn't, ha ha...) He's hiring, by the way...
See you soon!

Michelle, Is anyone from the shop going to be at Bee Day next week? I'd like to order a couple things if they can be brought to Georges.
Also is the shop still closed on Saturdays?
