I'm sure that I remember good' ol Hairy Danderspool just beggin and begging Todd not to enter his observation hive in the State Fair so that he could win once again. Yep! it was on the old message board. We need more competiton at the fair.....OR MAYBE WE DONT! Settle in boys and girls for some good old down to earth gossip! ;D Go get yourself a big bowl of popcorn and something to drink and gather around the computer, because I have some dirt to unearth about last years winning observation hive! Have I got your attention??? Well, not so fast! First I have to tell you about Walt Nichol, who always wins the blue ribbon for the best bees, because ,,well,, he has the best bees!!! Then along comes my dear, sweet, nephew, and he takes first place for the last few years. !!!!!WELL LISTEN TO THIS!!!!! Last year, Harry entered a his observation hive as Italian. Now I hate to be a busy body, but any blind man could see that the BLACK queen was Carniolean. Unfortunatly, and as things always go for Slanderfuel, Walt made the same mistake. To make matters worse, the judge was good ol mike Buggerette who must have forgot to take his sunglasses off. HELP!!!!! Don't be yella! Compete!!! Show your stuff. Todd! Crank up that hive. Good luck to all! Normy

Say what you want Normy baby, but Walt & I got quite a big laugh when we realized that we both had made the same error. You are right about ONE THING, Walt knows how to keep bees. Harry

I hate to be a party pooper but I don't begin to have the time to be involved in the state fair in any form. So no observation hive from me. Sorry -- those girls were let loose a long time ago. I'm curious were the observation hives are kept at the state fair so the bees can fly?
