I have a colony of bees settled into the side of my shop building. If I could get a local bee keeper to help me extract, them they can have them... Please call Warren 541.488.9627 Area: East of Ashland on Dead Indian Memorial Road.

Bees that have been well cared for the last few months have a between 5 and 90 percent chance of NOT surviving until spring. The bees in your wall much less. Taking them out lowers even that chance. Getting them out of the wall etc. is not worth the effort if we knew they would survive.
Leave them is the best solution. They will eat of some (more likely all ) of the honey they have collected by spring. Much easier to clean out dead bees and empty comb then live bees with honey dripping all over.
Of course, you may find it an experience to try, or find another that needs to lean the first lesson of beekeeping. HIVE A SWARM OR BUY BEES IN THE SPRING.
