Glenda has asked me to do a bee school for all you folks up there. I will be happy to, but can one of you call Glenda and have her check her e-mail and reply to me so we can get moving on this. I want to have the class before Bee Day at the end of April.

Where is Glenda located at? I.E. how far to travel to the bee school?

I'm resending my message b/c I wasn't registered when I sent the first one and thought you probably did not receive it.
Hi, My name is Jeanne White - I'm an acupuncturist in Sisters, OR and I'm interested in your Bee School. Could you please email or call me with info. Also, I'd love to find a local beekeeper in the area that I can purchase honey, pollen and propolis from. Do you have any contacts for me? ThanKs, Jeanne White, L.Ac 541-549-6910 jeannewhite@bendbroadband.com

We are still hammering out the details, but it will be held on Saturday, April 15 from 9am-3pm, or until all questions are answered. I am trying to close a deal with COCC for a room. It's a good deal for them because this is considered a workforce development class so it has special benefits for hosting a class such as this. Please do not call COCC for information. We will post information here as this class comes together.
I will be demonstrating equipment, sharing different methods and philosophies of beekeeping and I have over 400 slides in my slide show that covers bee behavior, beekeeping history, anatomy and biology, honey, wax, pests and disease and treatment.
We may be going to a location after the class is over to pop a hive open. This detail has not been worked out yet. I will bring some extra protective gear with me for those without, but that is limited.

One of the people in your location should reply to you if they still have any local honey, propolis, pollen or wax for sale.

The room that we will be using for the bee class will hold 70 people. Wouldn't that be great to fill that room? Anyway, full speed ahead. I'm ready for a great class.
