Hello, I am a homeschooling mom with a family interested in bees and beekeeping, but not ready to commit to a hive of our own. I've heard/read that sometimes beekeepers look for places to put their hives. We would love to have a hive in our yard so we can watch the beekeeper when he/she comes to do whatever you do.
We are in Washington County (Beaverton area) on 1.75 acres. We have a lot of wild blackberry around, and various flowers.
How would I find out if my yard is suitable and how to find a beekeeper who would want to use my yard?
thanks, Margaret

Margaret, Are you still interested in a hive on your property? If so, I would be happy to talk with you. I have been keeping bees for only a year, but would be interested in having a hive at your place.

Hello, I am not interested in raising bees either but I am intersted in finding someone who might need a place to keep some bees? Our apple trees, grapes, cherries, and blueberries have all done very poorly the last few years i.e. hardly produced at all. Someone suggested I get/find some bees to help with pollination? any assist would be greatly apprciated. Thank you admin@nwjudicial.com --- Small Claims Recovery www.nwjudicial.com
