I just requeened a hive from a year ago that was queenless. I also captured a swarm about a week ago. When i opened the swarm the bees went crazy fanning. I looked inside and dont see any brood or eggs. Can I just take those bees and place them in a deep box and add them to my hive I just requeened? I'd like to make that hive a double deep hive. Thanks

You might want to give both hives a little more time: the requeened hive, make sure she's well established there - and the swarm hive a little more time to see eggs, brood - for whatever unknown reason, the queen may not be laying yet. If you're sure the swarm has no queen, you could just place it over the other hive with a sheet of newspaper to chew through to combine them - just make sure that hive is off to a good start before you do.
