I have a swarm of bees that is in a neighbors tree but hanging over my property line and I would rather it was elsewhere. I have a dog and a toddler and a baby on the way and just feel that a hive of bees in my yard would not be a good thing. The only issue is that the little guys are about 50-70 feet up in a tree.
Any clue as to who might be able to get them away from here at that height? I called a bee guy today but he seems to be more worried about killing them and I would rather they didn't end up dead. He also said that no one he knows can get up that high.
The swarm formed up today and is still here tonight and I am thinking that this is where they picked for the new location as there was no hive nearby to my knowledge and from what I could pick up in a 15 minute perusal of Wikipedia and other sources they tend to go out from a hive and then swarm up in a place where they want to build a new hive.
While I like bees, I am somewhat allergic to them and rather terrified of them (I know it is irrational, but that is the thing with irrational fears, there is no reason for it and no reasoning with it) and though I do wish them no harm I would rather they could exist elsewhere.
Any help leading to someone who could get the little guys and convince them to relocate would be awesome. I could pay for their removal, up to the amount quoted to me from the exterminators (100-150).
Thanks for your time!

It is really unlikely they will stick around. They almost always will find an enclosed space somewhere.
