My family and I would like to host a hive in NE Portland in exchange for a bit of honey and the chance to learn about bees and beekeeping. Any chance?

Any takers? I don't own any property so I've been keeping bees on their people's land. Right now I don't have any colonies to set up and I have a few friends on a wait list but it could change at any time (if my bait hives work or I collect a swarm...). If that happens I would be happy to bring some over. You might want to look into mult county laws about beehives, if you haven't already, and talk to your neighbors.

I am also looking to host bee hives in exchange for honey. I have 5 acres out in the countryside NW of Portland with an orchard

I'm in outer SE (122nd & Stark) and we're looking for a place to home our hive that would be w/in 10 minutes of our house. Anyone interested?
