I've got bees in Sherwood and Tualatin, and know that the blackberries are all done blooming. I've seen the bees coming in with bright crimson pollen that looks like drops of blood, which is probably propolis.
I'm wondering (in a general sense) if there is still sufficient nectar to be had in the next few weeks and months? Or if the nectar flow is about over?
My bees are all first year bees and have one deep and medium just about drawn out and filled up. I'm getting ready to add a second medium to all three hives, which are about at the same stage. Will they still draw comb and harvest more nectar, or do things really slow down for the rest of the year?

The main flow is over there may be some vetch or crimson clover in your sherwood areas, but for the most part it is finished.....
