Now playing at Portland's Hollywood Theater, Queen of The Sun is a profound, alternative look at the bee crisis. Juxtaposing the catastrophic disappearance of bees with the mysterious world of the beehive, QUEEN OF THE SUN weaves an unusual and dramatic story of the heart-felt struggles of beekeepers, scientists and philosophers from around the world. www.hollywoodtheatre.org/www.queenofthesun.com/

Well we got off the farm last night and went into the big city to see the movie, There where about 5X more people there then I thought. Funny thing I know a few beekeepers, and folks that come into Ruhl bee store. I don't think I saw anyone that I recognized. Maybe that is a good thing that a another slice of the general public is seeing it. I won't rip on it, it was what I thought it would be. A little slanted in opinion. A lot of "I think" with no proof. BUT if you listened with an open mind there was thought provoking material in the movie.. Mostly the way this country (and others) raise food.
