I have one hive currently in my back yard and am thinking of broadening my horizons and placing 4 or five new hives in a forested property near my house. I will be purchasing some packages (any one know who to go to?) and collecting some swarms for comparison.
I have my brother in law building the boxes. I am in need of drawn comb to make a irresistible home for the most picky queen.
Any one have some available? I cant pay much, but I can pay.

You might want to buy nucs that have four to five fully drawn frames included....much better approach than packages.

Are nucs that much different than packages supplied with drawn comb? It seems that the month difference in arrival time would make up for that. Or, at least that was my thought. And nucs are so expensive.
