Hi, I dont know much about bees but this seems like at good place to post my question. I came across a bee hive just off the walking path in Oaks Bottom path that wraps around the wet-land just below the funeral home. The hive is in hollow tree, not a meter from the path, which had me worried that someone would call an exterminator. I dont know if anyone here collects bees like this, (they appear to me to be be honey bees, big patches of pollen on legs), but it would be a shame if they were killed because someone was stung. The actual location of the hive is about 200 meters before the small wooden bridge and to the left(wet-land/ pond side). If you know bees, its hard to miss, its very active.
