I am thinking of starting to raise bee's and have read a few books and done research on-line.What I need is to meet some keepers in my own city of Prineville to learn more

I don't--I've just met folks from outside the area who bring their bees to the carrot and onion fields. I think if you call the numbers I listed above those folks might be able to direct you or better yet--make it to the meeting on the 16th and maybe some one from Prineville will show up too!
