HI Me again. I was wondering if anybody on the west end of the Southern Oregon Beekeeping zone would happen to be working on some hives on a Saturday or Sunday and wouldn't mind if my father-in-law and I tagged along to see what's what. We have been working one hive for a year....and got a second this spring and every time we open them up for a look, we think we are either missing something or are too dumb to know a good thing. Both hives are doing well....building up nicely despite the varroa mite in one. But we would like, actually, to see first hand what other hives look like, maybe what disease looks like....and see the process and speed at which other people inspect. Anybody willing to be a mentor on that note? PS. So far, I think we have done a lot of things wrong at least once....but I am not sure we can be lucky forever.
