Howdy, Ya'll! I miss the bees too much and have started a beesting desensitization process with my allergist. If all goes well, I should be back at it mid-July and I look forward to seeing everyone again.

Hi Herb. The therapy is a bit annoying at first. Soon you will be down to one visit per month and that isn't so bad. Then the advice from the beekeeping side (not the doctor side) is after a couple of years allow yourself to get stung once in a while to measure what reaction if any you have. I went through the rig a ma roll about 20 years ago. In my 3rd year of therapy, I spaced out and forgot to go in one month. So I dropped out. I get stung all the time every since. I never wear gloves. I wear a half jacket and jeans. No swelling, no itching no nothing! In my case the therapy did much more than just make things safe. It completely removed any reaction of any sort. I hope all goes well for you too. And I look forward to seeing you sometime!

Very good Herb.
I firmly believe that bees are good for people at all ages, and especially for retirees. The bees keep you active and the brain ah thinking!

Plus and this is of pertinence to you. Many have swatched to using liquid smoke in spray bottles instead of traditional smoke and FIRE!
