It was a beautiful day in the Seattle area. I'm in the process of setting aside nucs for a buddy that he will need for the almonds and I have a few singles (actually six and seven framers) that I need to shove into nucs. This queens was mated in early October when we had a couple of real nice days and she is still in full laying mode. I must confess I gave this hive two frames of pollen to nudge it along. Time for this mini single to get shoved into a smaller box. First frame of brood out showing both sides Second frame both sides the other sides of #2 with the queen note the eggs in the open cells Third brood frame both sides
